- take several field trips to The Strong National Museum of Play to look at (and play) some of the pinballs and blueprints items in their collections
- hear from several guest lectures (some in person, and some via the Internet)
- watch documentary and entertainment films related to pinball
- build cardboard and software prototype games and play test them
- make a final presentation of their pinballs at The Strong during a scouting day on pinball
